Quality Management

The entire Geppert GmbH organization is certified according to the quality management system ISO 9001. The upgrade to the new standard ISO 9001:2008 (including research and development) was confirmed in 2003. All processes within the enterprise are clearly structured and documented.

On 02.11.2017 the ceremonial inauguration of the power plant Tschar took place in the municipality Obersaxen in Switzerland. The hydro power plant consists of 2 units. The upper unit was realized with a 4-nozzle Pelton turbine with a rated output of 4.2 MW. The 5-jet Pelton turbine installed in the lower unit is Geppert's most powerful Pelton turbine so far. By supplying additional water and head of over 400m, the lower unit generates a rated output of 10.1 MW.
