Project planning is the beginning of a successful project execution. During the first project meeting all relevant data of the order and results of previous meetings with client and consultant are handed over to a project manager. This project engineer provides a project schedule, which he updates continuously and audits its observation.

Fabrication Facilities

In September 2016, the team of Geppert GmbH moved into new premises offering new facilities for production, warehousing and administration. Production and administration are now located at Geppertstrasse 6, in Hall in Tirol, with a total area of 6,300m² for production and assembly and a total of 1,500 m² for offices. In addition, there are generous storage areas for raw materials and components in the basement. Loads with unit weights up to 35 t can be lifted and moved in the whole production area by a system of crossing and superposed gantry cranes. A sandblasting equipment as well as a paint spray cabin, 12 meters long, 5 meters wide and 5 meters high allow to obtain an optimal and long-lasting corrosion protection of our components. For the surface post-treatment of stainless steel components, a glass bead blasting cabin, 5 meters long and 3.7 meters wide was installed. Bending machines with an upper roll of up to 450 mm in diameter were put into operation in the steel construction department. This means that plates with a width of up to 3000 mm and a thickness of up to 30 mm can be bent for the production of housings and distribution pipes.



Highly qualified Austrian technicians, often factory trained, and modern machine tools facilitate a precise and first class machining of the components.

Shop Assemnly & Start Up

All components are assembled wherever possible before delivery to facilitate an individual factory acceptance test for every turbine type according to check lists. The plant remains wherever possible assembled for shipment to minimise the time required for assembly on site.
